What we collect
Exactly what the quiz asks and nothing more: your child's first name, age, pronouns for the story, two interests, a favorite animal, the lesson you picked, an optional dedication line, and your email for delivery. No last names, no addresses, no photos.
What we never ask for
Photos of your child, birth dates, school or location details, or any account creation. Version 1 of TaleOfYou is deliberately photo-free: the hero is drawn from your written answers, never from an uploaded image.
How the answers are used
The quiz answers are used once, to write and illustrate your book. They are stored with your order so we can regenerate the book if delivery fails, and for nothing else. They are never sold, shared or used to train models.
Your email receives the book, a receipt and, only if you opted in, occasional story ideas. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Deletion on request
One email to us with the order email address and we delete the order, the quiz answers and the generated files. No forms, no questions, confirmed in writing.
AI disclosure
Illustrations are AI-assisted and unique per child, and we say so on every page of this site and on the product listing itself.
